Fran Goñi

Partner (In memoriam)

After several years of internship in different law firms in the United States, he joined Goñi & Co. Abogados in the late 1980s, where he excelled as a partner, gaining widespread national and international recognition as an expert maritime lawyer.
He studied Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid and completed a Master’s degree in Maritime Law at the Institute of Science and Technology (UWIST) in Cardiff, United Kingdom.

He was a Full Member of the Comité Maritime International and Secretary-General of the Spanish Association of Maritime Law.

Vice-President for Spain of the Ibero-American Institute of Maritime Law (IIDM).

He taught as a Professor at the Instituto Marítimo Español (IME) and participated as a speaker and attendee in numerous conferences and seminars related to the maritime sector.
